I have played Runescape, which reminds me of a really bad version of UO, and Dungeon Runner which I love for its mindless fun.....i can just pick it up and play no need for a group or much thought at all. I can remember when it was so easy to just find an open beta for some MMO and join up to try it out but those days seem to be gone.

Silkroad Online I hear is pretty good. I keep intending to try it, but not bad enough to download it. I got betaed on this cool looking thing, but never cared enough to download that either. My friend said it was cool so I decided I might want to, sometime in the distant future, maybe, try it out. Of course that was all pointless because I don't remember the name.

Dear god, let me be the one to tell you. Space Cowboy Online. I played this game for nearly two years, but do to some issues with ownership/rights, the game has been thrown around recently. It has now been given to Gameforge 4D, who has done a very good job of getting it released again with new content. The game was originally called Ace Online, and was released in Korea and Vietnam back in 2006. They released an English version, Space Cowboy Online, which was the version I played. Subsequently, this was the version which was taken offline after being up for close to two years. Gameforge has been given the rights, and the beta was released less then three days ago. I would REALLY love to see more of us here at Webrats get involved in this amazing, unique MMO. The new release is called Flysis, but I will not be able to play until April, being that I am in Iraq at the moment. Here is the main website for the game, and I do hope more of you guys will play. I remember last year having around 15 active people from Webrats playing alot, and it was amazing. Would absolutely love to see alot of you guys play again! If you are interested in playing, visit http://board.flysis.com/index.php and take a look. Maybe you will enjoy this free MMO!

Get a 10-day WoW trial. You will have more fun in those 10 days then you would ever have in a free MMO.

Check out this website. They offer a few free MMO's which look promising. I personally haven't had any experience with any of these games as I am starting to get back into WoW, but a friend of a friend told me they were pretty solid. Happy hunting!
