This isn't really a huge deal, but I want a little help on how to attack it. There are some great advice givers in this forum.
I go to school about an hour from where I live (with my parents). In December I was in an Improv performance with my troupe on campus and met this really nice girl who was helping us out with our show. We talked for a bit afterward and she invited me to a club to go dancing with a few of her friends and a couple of my improv troupe members.
Long story short we talked a while and I drove her to the club. We danced, made out a little, nothing too....serious. On the way home there was a HUGE snowstorm and in driving her back, it made the trip back home for me about 2-2 1/2 hours. So she invited me to stay in her room, and sleep on the floor. I woke up the next morning to her nudging me awake at 1 PM and I quickly left by giving her a hug and telling her that I'd get in touch with her through facebook, and we arranged a date for the next Friday.
I messaged her on Tuesday, and got nothing until Saturday morning when she apologized for not getting her messages. I told her I understood and I told her that we could do something on the Thursday before she left home. I gave her a call (this time) on thursday around 8, no answer. Then, not to seem stalkerish, I only called her once more at 10 and left her a message basically saying "Hey, it's Matt, give me a call if you still want to do something." Needless to say, no call.
I want two things out of this. First, I kinda liked her and I do want to get to know her a little better if she feels the same way. So I could send her a message on facebook or give her a call. And worst come to worst, I left my remote for my car stereo in her room when I stayed over that night, and now my car stereo is malfunctioning and needs the remote to work (figures).
I just got an apartment off-campus about 3 minutes away to help me be closer to school and to get away from the house. With this new factor into play, should I even go after this girl now? Should I chalk this up to a loss? And will I ever see my remote again?
Thanks guys,
-Matt
