I've been having problems on live for last few weeks on and off.. I can download fast.. but just connecting takes forever and sometimes times out.

Aparently MS is going to give us all a free "arcade" game for all our troubles..
and 2 people in texas i believe are suing MS for $5mill for it.

The servers couldn't handle the extra load from all the new 360's online over xmas and beyond. (aparently)

At least the halo 3 servers were trippled before the game came out.

Yea, i cant hardly get on xbox live at all. Then once i do get on, i get disconnected.

I heard that the servers started screwin up on the 22nd of dec.

Alright this is getting out of hand. I have barely been able to play Halo3 online for the last 3 weeks. First week, I was like, OK whatever. Second week, I'm pissed but you promise me a free game and I got mass effect so I don't care. Third week now I am REALLY pissed. My friends are all home from college and we cant get a game for like 20minutes! I know all the crap about 'new' consoles for Xmas, but this has been going on for a LONG time now.

On topic the weekends are the worst time to play online, with so many people not at school and work. My online experience isnt too bad . Was just one day when I had trouble finding a server for cod4

Yeah I have to say that whatever hiccups I was experiencing before have not recurred since the day after I posted about it - XBL has been just fine for me in the days since then.

I would like that free game info though :)

Hey Xbox Live is back to normal.


Microsoft is compensating all GOLD members with a free arcade game --- they havent revealed what title it will be but they will let us all know in the next month.
