This pisses me off...for 2 reasons.
First..The league gives the trophy to the owner...THE FUCKING OWNER! Sure, he signed some cheques and hired some smart people that knew how to build the right team...but he didn't win anything. Give the fucking thing to the players or at the very least the manager!
Second...Do it on the field. Do it in front of the fans....you know, the people that pay to watch, that but the concessions and merchandise. So it by home plate, or the mound or in right fucking center, but do it in front of the fans, not in the locker room in front of an MLB backdrop.
Even the NBA does it better then baseball...
Fuck, even the NHL that fucks shit up on almost every level,from marketing to management to rules gets it right.
