I declare war, on behalf of the Patriots, on every team that dares play our guys. I want to suck out their souls, make their women cry and force their children into servitude. Enough is enough.... Time for some serious ass-kicking. Let them wear sackcloth and ashes and gnash teeth in writhing agony... let them beg and plead for mercy, and let there be none. Let the score be run up upon them that dare challenge... and let them be humbled by our team's greatness. Woe be to those that choose fantasy players that play against us... for they shall be driven from the books like a cockroach from the light. Yea verily, let us crush all opponents like bugs and make their fans our bitches.

Amen.

You take this shit way to seriously man. I mean, I'm a die hard football (Eagles) fan and even I don't get as butt-hurt as you do over nothing but little jabs and jokes.

Whatever. At least you sleep well knowing you defended your team to the highest caliber.

How the fuck is anyone supposed to respond to your post anyway? You didn't pose a question, just made a weird statement. :dunno:

No.. Pats suck is a weird statement. I am just merely stating my alliegence. That's all.And while the Eagles suck and you masturbate to your Donovan mcnabb poster while gurgling chunky soup i'll enjoy watching the Pats and Randy Moss roll their way through the NFL.

In short.. I'm just enjoying myself right now. No offense intended.

This is an internet forum, the most informal, impersonal form of communication. Ridicule is human nature in that type of setting. If you can't handle it, then everyone else gets to laugh at you all the more :mstad:

Now don't make fun of me, or I might insult your mom or something.

Yeah, Adrenaline.. weve got it pretty good right now. I'm making the trip to Dallas this week for the game. I'm sure we'll be welcome with open arms down there ,yeah right. Should be an awesome game. If Romo plays like he did monday against the Bills the Pats might smoke' em.

The colts matchup looks very interesting. If they win this game, I really believe the '72 Dolphins alum will begin quaking in their flip flops.

I'm with ya. And the way the hype machine is rolling along it's as if there is no other game this week. Fans on other team's message boards hoping someone takes out Brady's legs..despicable.

Games like this rarely live up to the hype but I have a funny feeling about this one.Pats still win though.

I dislike the Pats, mainly because they share a division with my fav team and frequently whoop up on them.

However, if they get past Indy, and I think that they will, I do honestly think they are the first team in a long time with a legitimate chance of going 16-0.

Although, as I said before, Bellichick is not stupid and will most likely rest his starters once they clinch home field. He's too smart to let going undefeated impact his team's chances in the Super Bowl. That's not to say that the second stringers can't win, it's just unlikely.

All I know, sir_drinkalot, is I would have loved to hear your whining ass a few years back.

It's one thing to be proud of your team during a winning season, and another to be a good sport when your team is having a winning season.

You need to take a step back & be a good sport, else wise I assure you the only thing you will encounter once your favorite team (inevitably) loses a game, is ridicule.

just some friendly advice; take it or leave it.

personally, I would love the Pats to go insane this year only because I have Brady & Addai on my fantasy team...otherwise I could give two shits to Sunday about them.

By a few years back you must mean prior to '97? We've been pretty good since then even though Pete Carrol brought us down a couple pegs. But yeah..I hear ya. I happen to be having a pretty good time right now and i'm not ashamed of it. Times like this are fleeting and go by very fast. On top one year and all of a sudden your the Detroit Lions. Enjoy it while you can I say. And believe me.. I can take ridicule and have already primed myself for the enevitable. But while we are on the mountain top..may as well enjoy it,right?

Pats(8-0) have played opponents that are 24-34 as of now.. take away the 8 losses from the pats they are 24-26 (opps win % is .480)

Steelers(5-2) have played opponents that are 21-28 take away 2 wins and 5 losses from that we have 19-23 (opps win% is .452)

others that are doing well.. Green Bay (6-1) have played opponents that are 25-27 take away 6 losses and 1 win we have 24-21 (opps win % is .533)

Dallas(6-1) opponents are 22-32, take away 6 losses and 1 win we have 21-26 (opp win % is (.447)

Indy (7-0) opponents are 27-23 take away 7 losses and they we have 27-17 (opp win % is .614)

Therefore in conclusion Indy has played the toughest schedule so far to date. Then Green Bay, NE, Pitt and dallas..

Its just the #'s tho.. still got to preform each and every week.. But I think its going to be hell of a game and i know I will be glued to my seat!

s_d, I'm old...er...seasoned - so when I say "a few years back" I could be talking about the 90's, the 80's or even earlier LOL.

Hell I started following the Raiders back when I was a kid in the Stabler days if that adds any perspective. That should also clue you in that I have first hand experience with riding high in good seasons & being ridiculed in bad ones (like now).

Anyway looking at the latest odds on this game, the Pats are going in as 5.5 - 6 point favorites with an over/under of like 56.5 - 57 points and both teams are up & ready for this, so I think either way it goes, this game is going to be both close & exciting :)

And I already said it probably didn't effect the outcome of the game. However, cheating is cheating. Quit defending the Hoodie, and just admit it was bullshit.

Draggon, not quite sure which side of the fence your on here but..Brady came out of the game early in the 4th qtr. They RAN the ball almost exclusivley during that time. Billz fans complain about us going for on 4th and 1 at the 3, saying we should have kicked a field goal. To me, kicking a field goal is running it up more than giving the "D" a chance to stop us and taking it over on downs. This whole running it up crap is ludicrous. The Pats are just that good. I'm still trying to figure out Reid's thoughts on that one. Hmmm, we are slowly moving the ball down the field (effectively), and there is about four minutes left on the clock....

Fuck it, throw a bomb with a back-up QB whose under the pressure of playing a Sunday night game in front of the world against a undefeated juggernaut, where even if we do score on that play, we give them more than enough time to march right back down the field against us (with their three timeouts) and re-take the lead with no time left for us to counter.

Phew, out of breath.....

Yeah, let's do that instead of just keep pounding them and letting the clock run down while hoping to get in the endzone but even if we don't give Akers and chip shot to tie this bad baoy and take it to OT.

Feely did what he was ordered to do. If the coach said turn around and run backwards to the opposite endzone and give the Pats 2 points on a safety, he would have to do it. Of course no coach would do that, but the coach calls the plays. Actually, when barely leading and time is running out, a voluntary safety is a good call, especially if you are punting while backed way up in your territory. (ie endzone).

You can say what you want, but the qb reads the defense, goes through his progression, and then makes his pass. He doesn't predetermine for sure before the play starts.

After watching tonites game against Cinci, I cannot honestly say that Pit is prepared for NE. U should plow thru the ravens like a knife thru hot butter tomorrow and i thank u for it but next sunday should still be a good game. more later

The coach should never put a back-up in that kind of situation against a team like N.E.

Give it to your superstar player (Westbrook) and let him put the game on his shoulders.

Yeah, and he was told to pass, he doesn't predetermine the play. Yeah, he could have thrown it better. But this is where you miss the point: He should have been told to handoff. It's like this booty, you let your dog off it's leash and it gets run over by a car and killed. Suppose you hadn't done that, your dog would still be alive. Now, if he had been ordered to handoff to a running back, he wouldn't have thrown an interception. Maybe the running back would have fumbled. Maybe the drive would have stalled. Who knows, but the outcome may have been different. As said above, even if he had been successful with a TD, NE would have plenty of time to march up the field. Run the ball and run time off the clock FTMFW.

Blame goes to coach, not to QB.

why should he have been told to handoff? there is just as much possibility that westbrook would have been stuffed 3 times in a row(yeah not really tho, he is an elite back) But as for a bomb on 2nd an 1.. why not take the shot then.. then if its incomplete, run and get the 1st on 3rd down. Feely should have made the read and checked it down.. or just thrown it outa bounds.

As for Feely this weekend.. he blew the game again!

and the pats came so close to losing. had it not been for the Timeout and defensive holding on 4th downs they would have lost. Baltimore blew it.

NE will beat Pitt as it is in foxboro.

Or run it twice, and even if he does get stuffed they tie it on a field goal and hope to win the overtime toss.

I'm not going argue this point anymore. All of Eagle nation is saying the same things I am, as well as Philly media.

It was a bad play call on Reid. Period.

The Ravens shoulda won, but their defense made some dumb mistakes in the 4th. I dont agree the refs are to blame for their loss. Nonetheless, If the Ravens can get that close then logic surely suggests a Steeler victory this Sunday. The press has hyped the game up quite abit with #1 Defense vs. #1 Offense. But #1 D is not enough to beat the Pats, and I know this. I just hope Big Ben can pull it off again.

G'luck

Good luck indeed. But somebody should keep the microphones away from Anthony Smith..idiot. Shoul be a good game. Both teams will be battered and bruised after this one.

I'm thinking the Pats beat the snot out of the 'Gints this saturday. NY has nothing to play for and Coughlin is like a paranoid Chihuahua with an axe above his head if he loses a playoff game. Easy win for the Pats and a multiple record breaker to boot. Thoughts??

I agree totally.. And I think the Giants will take this week as their bye week and get ready for the seahawks.

I think Moss will break the receiving TD record. and I think Brady will 3 up Manning's td record too..

Maybe it will be better that the Pats don't get their loss out of the way no and mess up in the playoffs.

:werd: on the Moss and Brady records, hell of a season. Moss is the true MVP. He shows up and the offense goes crazy.

How to Lose to the Patriots: A 5 Step Program

1. Before the game, be EXTREMELY confident about your team’s chances against a team that hasn’t lost this season. However, start laying the groundwork for excuses of why your team lost. (Example: Can we beat the Pats & the refs?)

2. Resort to calling the Patriots players, fans, and NE media “classless”. Then proceed to wish injuries, including career & life threatening ones such as spinal cord etc, on Tom Brady and other Patriots players. Once the Patriots go up by three or more touchdowns, start calling for 11 man blitzes with the sole intention of ending Tom Brady’s career. After all, Tom smiled after his 5th TD pass. What an arrogant, cocky SOB!! Mention nothing of your players guaranteeing victory (including score), stating that “we’ll see them again, IF they make it”, and advising the nation to “Getcha popcorn ready!”. Feel free to question Brady’s sexuality if all else fails.

3. CHEAT-RIOTS!!! Make sure you refer to the Patriots as “Cheat-riots”, “Hateriots”, “Patriots*” at all times. In addition, their coach shall be referred to only as “Belli-cheat” or some variation that draws attention to his cheating ways. After all, the Patriots were caught cheating in the first 5 minutes of the season. No wonder they won all those Championships! And remember, once a cheater, always a cheater. Every Patriots win under ********* is now tainted. He (and Tom Brady) should be banned from the NFL for life, the Patriots should forfeit every game for the next ten seasons, and the organization should be disbanded or relocated. Meanwhile, your team should continue to tape signals from the coaches box and cover their mouths while calling plays against every NFL team as usual.

4. Once your team loses, “Getcha Excuses Ready!”. Acceptable excuses include claiming the Patriots were “lucky”, that they must have been cheating somehow (see rule 3), claiming the better team lost, injuries, and my personal favorite: The NFL is a grand conspiracy involving the commissioner, NFL executives, television networks, and especially the refs. This has been going on for years folks, and is the best kept secret the world has ever known! After all, if this fix was ever leaked by even 1 of the hundreds involved, it would destroy the NFL and their multi-billion dollar industry. Ignore the fact a Pats-Colts AFC Championship game would have generated the largest TV ratings in years, and a Patriots-Packers Superbowl may have broken league records- the NFL only fixes Patriot games. Special exception: if your team wins, the NFL is a wonderful league which promotes fair play and honest competition- and your team won fair and square. At least one of your players will say “the only ones who believed in us are right here in this locker room!” True, except he forgot to mention YOU.

5. After the game is over, venture to your team’s message board and start threads about how you may have lost this year, but next year belongs to your team (Revenge is sweet, see 2006 Chargers message board)!! You WILL win the next 3 Superbowls! After all, Randy Moss is bound to blow up one of these days ala Corey Dillon, the Pats have been old since 2001 and it’s bound to catch up to them, and we played them close and laid the blueprint for the rest of the NFL (they’ve been EXPOSED!!). Now root feverishly for whatever team is playing the Patriots each week. For bonus credit, talk about how the NFL is losing fans due to the Patriots, yet watch each of their games rooting for the other team, and continue to make Patriot games the highest the NFL has seen in 10 years. Most of all, continue to annually predict the Patriots decline. Some day, you’ll be considered a prophet.

No, I meant the cheapest, most disrespectful cheater of a coach, and the gayest quarterback who throws like a girl, and can't live up to the ability of his receivers.

And you're right no one has one won like the pats....by taping their opponents, because it's against the rules. I can tell you who won unlike the pats though; The Giants, who won with strong defense, and smart play calling. Oh yeah, and respect for the game of football. FUCK. THE. PATRIOTS. And fuck anyone else who wishes to destroy the greatest sport ever and turn it into a debacle like baseball or basketball.
