Need a good quick recipe for scallops as an appetizer...have one that has
shallots, garlic, mushrooms, sauted in olive oil and butter....that seems to
follow the same as all other recipes...just want something different, and
quick and easy....tks in advance...

Trying frying your scallops in a pan with a coating of potato startch at 375 for a few minutes submerged....

Then toss them into you sauce when it is at a simmer for only 10 to 15 seconds. Olive oil does not like too much heat. Give them a quick coat and serve with rice........
