individual ring tones for moto razrv3

how do i individualy apply ring tones to individual phone numbers? i have a friend who was the same phone as me and the option is clearly there for him to apply different ring tones to different numbers but i can't find it anywhere on my phone. any help please?

I have a razr with verizon. I set up individual ringtones in my contact list; each contact I have has a field where you can pick a ringtone. Hope that helps.

It's the same on every phone I've seen. Find the person in your contact list and there should be an option to give them a ringtone.

thanks for the help but i still can't figure it out. if it helps i have t-mobile. but here is what happens when i try to do this
menue
phonebook
first person
view
edit
after edit the screen says
name
number
store to: sim
speed number
...more...
more includes phone number and email address
