Anyone planning on getting this PPV tonight? I am actually very surprised there wasn't a thread made earlier about this event. (if there was I apologize I overlooked it when I searched.) Anyways, I believe this is one of the best cards that they have had in a very long time.
Anderson Silva vs. Nate Marquardt....I hope Marquardt can beat him, and he has a great chance, but I believe Silva's quickness and striking will prevail.
Tito Ortiz vs Rashad Evans....I like both fighters a lot, and this fight is huge for both fighters. I think this may be the second best fight on the card. Rashad Evans can step over the edge as a real threat in the LHW division with a win.
Sean Sherk vs Hermes Franca.....Fight of the night. Sherk is one large muscle and strong as hell, but Franca is a bad ass on the ground. Very good BJJ for Hermes. I like Hermes in this one in a 3rd or 4th round submission.
Heath Herring vs Big Nog....I think the UFC wants Herring to fail. Herring is coming off that win against Brad Imes, but he went the distance. I haven't seen Herring fights outside of the UFC, but for all the hype he had coming in, he hasn't impressed me at all. Big Nog finishes fights, which is something I haven't seen out of Herring, so I see Nogueira finishing this one early.
Great card with great under card fights as well. I am really looking forward to it.
