I picked this one up back in the spring, it's insane. It's a topping for grilled brats.

you will need:

2 yellow onions
2 sticks butter
1 big bottle of Lea & Perrin's Worcestershire sauce
1 bottle Tabasco sauce
Cavender's greek seasoning
Horseradish mustard
disposable aluminum pan

chop the onion as big or small as you like, and mix all ingredients in the aluminum pan. I use the entire bottle of Worcestershire and Tabasco. sprinkle the Cavender's as you like, I usually put a good healthy layer across the top of the mix.

while the brats are cooking, put the aluminum pan directly on the grill with the brats *that's why you need a disposable pan* the brats should finish before the sauce simmers down all the way, so what we always do is let them cook, then throw them into the sauce until it cooks down till it's almost real thick, still just a little bit runny.

take the brats, put them in a hoagie roll, and top with the onion topping, and the horseradish mustard, if you want the extra spicy.

sit back, enjoy, and try not to break your arm patting yourself on the back for making such a badass topping

that looks really tasty bro, I will definitely give it a try. We don't get Cavender's Greek seasoning out here though...is there an equivalent I could use or do I need to mail away for the stuff?

here's a simple one you might try: just take plain yellow, or brown mustard & mix in a couple teaspoons of curry powder (to taste). if you like that kind of thing, you will really like it on grilled brats. It's one of my favorites that I picked up at a brat stand in Germany a while back - they all love that curried shit out there!

I would imagine that just any Greek seasoning would work just as fine. maybe even like some season salt, that might work.

I've never been a fan of curry anyway, but what the hell, Im willing to give anything a try

that sauce sounds really good, i am going to try it this weekend assuming i get all the stuff together.

you might think i'm crazy, but i was raised to put cucumber and celery salt on my hot dogs, brats, or other bun-able sausages. i'm not sure if that would taste good with this sauce.. but it might be worth a try. :mstad:
