Hmm, heres my story..
My gf stayed at my house the other day, and we started to get a little bit.. you know.. playful ..
One thing led to another and then she directed me and i entered her.. unprotected only half way.. but then we stopped as we realised it was wrong to do it unprotected..

I am worried though, because i had pre-cummed as i think you call it.. where i was a little wet...

She's on the pill however, but we are still worried what might happen.. Please can someone give me some advice or tell me it's alright.

Thanks

i don't think you should be too worried about it.

but interesting topic and wording for someone who's supposedly 35 years old. how old are you, really?

The pill had a stupidly high success rate - she won't be preggers unless you are shit out of luck (I think the effectiveness is like 98%?)

When your relationship starts getting sexual throw a condom or two in your wallet. This will ensure your always ready :)

This is the only place i can get an answer though.. And we are really worried.. Theres no other forums where they will listen to serious questions and we can't just go on worrying about it..

If she's on the pill and never misses, there is no chance she's pregnant. If she misses even one day of the pill - you need to use other protection for a full month, according to the directions. It's true too...I've seen it happen more than once that a girl has become pregnant while on the pill because she missed a day or two. From what you described, I don't think you have anything to worry about except whether or not you should be having sex at all.

I'm sorry, I know you're looking for advice but for legal reasons you cannot be a member of our forum until you are 18, and you admit to being 16 so I have to ban you. Thank you for being honest though.

I suggest you consult some websites like http://www.plannedparenthood.org to get sound advice on pregnancy & contraception.

:bsflag:

The pill is NOT 100% effective. Get your facts straight before you try to give advice.

mstad,

thank you for the thousands of posts you have contributed to these forums. I am thankful that there are people like you who will contribute so much.

I do have my facts straight. According to the FDA, the failure rate of the birth control pill, when taken correctly and never missed, is .01 %

That translates to 1 woman out of every 100

Add to that the fact that this guy didn't ejaculate inside his girlfriend, and add to that the fact that there are only a few days during each menstrual cycle that it is possible for a woman to become pregnant.

I concede that 99.0% effectiveness does not equal 100%, but that effectiveness rate, coupled with the other considerations, is close enough in my opinion to say that there is no chance she's pregnant.

Again, I appreciate all your posts. But...judging my comment as BS and posting a reply to me as if I'm an idiot is completely uncalled for.

maybe not an idiot, but you still can't do math.

.01% means 1 out of 1000 women.

that, and you CAN miss a pill and still be good as long as you take it with or a little before your next day. I've done it many times, hell, i've even missed two days and i've never had a scare.

even still, no form of contraceptive besides abstinence is 100% foolproof. Condoms are supposed to be the same way but a friend of mine just found out she was pregnant. she'd only had sex a few times ever, used a condom every time, and still got knocked up. it can happen.

for the record, i don't use any contraceptive right now and i've been fine so far for the 6 months i haven't used anything. and i do it often. hey there mstad :naughty:

just goes to show how no matter what you do or don't use anything can happen, or not happen

1 / 100 = .01

you can check it with a calculator.

if 1 out of 100 women become pregnant despite using the pill, then .01 % of the women become pregnant.

to make it easier to understand one can think of it in terms of money: something that costs .01 costs 1 penny, or 1/100 of a whole dollar.

the first place after the decimal is the "tens" place. The second place after the decimal is the "hundreths" place. The "thousandths" place is the third position after a decimal.

I probably caused confusion when I later incorrectly typed 99.99 in my post. That number should have read simply 99.00

Explain to me how your facts are straight? 99% is not 100%, therefor there's a chance she could be pregnant.

And don't bring my post count into this, it's got nothing to do with the topic.

my bad, it's late and i'm tired. i don't need a huge explanation on simple math.

still, 99% does not equal 100%. i know better than a kindergardener

acbcde123....dude for someone who is so touchy about his math, it hilarious for me to see u doing such fundamental mistakes and then people pointing out yr mistakes and doing mistakes themselves....all of u need a primary level class on the concept of "percentage" :lolhit:

if 1 out of 100 women become pregnant despite using the pill, then .01 % of the women become pregnant.

Incorrect....that would be 1%....0.01% will be 1 out of 10,000 ...(not even 1 out of 1000, which would be 0.1%)....give % sign some respect :-)

1 out of 10,000 = 1/10,000 * 100 % = 0.01% ....simple primary maths..

to make it easier to understand one can think of it in terms of money: something that costs .01 costs 1 penny, or 1/100 of a whole dollar.

That is correct but it doesn't mean that 1 penny is 0.01% of a dollar :duh:...its 1%

Ok, now that math class is over, we can all agree that just because a girl's on the pill doesn't mean she can't get pregnant, right?
