so it begain raining Monday eve, and did not stop. During the day, it was mixed with Snow. Yup, April 24th, and it still does it. The nice thing about Colorado, is that it can snow into May and even June.

Last May 30th, I was up in the Yampa valley and it snowed on me. I think I posted that here.

Anyway, this is the "Little Dry Creek" that runs a couple blocks from my house, and has a nice trial along it for peaceful walks.

This is what I like about it, it is so beautiful! very small, light run off.

And this is the smae "Island" from exactly one month ago - March 23rd. We had a nice strom that night prior also.
This "Island" was build and finished in February. Looks like it need more work.
On Satuday, I was able to walk on a couple rocks to get on the island. :D

nice pics. I am in the desert, which by definition, doesn't get much rain. we had snow 2 years ago, and it stuck....plenty of snow in the nearby mountains all fall/winter/spring, not much higher elevation than us and just over 10 miles away.

that creek looks awesome... is it deep enough to go kayaking lol

Yes, with the Rain run off, you could ride a Kayak!
But as you can see, the normal flow is not evn enough for a toy boat!
