airfares to germany

i subscribe to airfare watch dog. so i glance at them every once in awhile. well for some reason its cheaper to goto germany, then london.
doesnt make sence london is so much closer then germany.

Well...............a lot of that has to do with certain sites buying concession seats off the airlines.

Example. I'm travelling to texas next week from europe. If i went onto American Airlines website, i'd pay the normal price. If i used a site such as ebookers, they'ed knock half the price off of the tickets for the same airline. Of course i went with ebookers. Saved me over $600. Same flights, same airline.........massive price difference.

Heathrow in london can charge a lot more than other airports aswell....for reasons such as security.
