Can anyone tell me why the videos I download and view with WMA often appear really dark, like the brightness and contrast have both been turned way down? I have XP SP2 and the latest versin of media player...I don't know what's going on..
you might have better luck posting your question in the computer/program section .
asides from that ... there are some variables involved . have you checked into updates for your video card/drivers ? what version of WMP do you have ? do you have a different graphics card profile set up for running video ... the list goes on .
a quick way to narrow it down is to dl and install winamp and/or vlc ... both are good ... i believe they are better than WMP .
go to www.winamp.com for their player .
the addy for vlc is : http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
these two programs are good ... i have had some stuff that choked in media player ... ran it in vlc without a problem .
