send your own images to your phone?

does anyone know if you can send images to your phone to use as your background? I'd rather send my own than buy Telus' crappy pics.

Depends on the phone

Some phones come with a data cable, which allows you to connect it to your PC and drag and drop anything you like on to your phone, and then you can set it as a background.

Similar methods include Infra Red (bit pants - line of sight and speed etc.), Bluetooth, or even getting friends to send you them via MMS message

However; like I say - all of this depends on the phone!

I know with my phone and provider, I can send a picture message from my email. Cam you recieve picture messages on your phone?

Yeah.. dock your mobile with your pc via data cable.. You can transfer as many images as its capable of holding + you can backup / synchronize the data on your phone..
You will need software to do this so make sure you get the correct version for your device :)
