Hey I use Mozilla Firefox (altho now I am on IE because of the problem) and have been for years, but I am suddenly having problems with it. Once and a while I will open it and all my favorites are deleted, and my tabs that were saved are gone. I could never recover them. This I could live with, but now it happens every time I re-open firefox. So I can never have favorites. Even more recently it got real bad and when I use firefox the homepage resets to the default and I can not click any "send data" type buttons. (Buttons such as login, post, or anything that you enter data in to send to the server) I figured that before this botton problem that firefox was just running as tho it had just been installed, thus no favorites and original home screen. But now, I dont know what is happening?!?! Any solutions other than switching browsers would be great, I used to love firefox :eek3:

have you tried deleting and reinstalling Firefox?

have you recently installed or modified any anti-spy/scum/malware/viri programs ?
some of these programs will delete a lot of information unless you tell them to leave certain programs , applications and data alone . you didn't mention if you had checked the "options/settings" for FF .

Sounds like your FF profile is getting deleted/reset every time. I'd suggest uninstalling it and then reinstalling it.
