Watered Down?
It's the fastest mainstream sport in the world. It combines strategy, skill, speed and roughness like no other sport. Nothing even comes close.
I will admit this though. There has yet to be a well televised game. You have to see it live. I don't know anyone who has seen a high level live game and not loved it. Even people that go in wanting to hate it.

As an American I love hockey and think it's the greatest sport to watch. For me it's just edge of your seat exciting cause you never know whats going to happen. I think most people that don't enjoy hockey, don't understand hockey. It's just too bad that the strike had to happen and ABC and ESPN didn't renew the NHL's tv deal cuz I haven't been able to see my beloved Canadiens on the tube for a couple years now. Think I need to road trip to Vancouver next time they are in town.
