I've been smokin' bud for about 5 years now. I've taken mushrooms about ten times and salvia 10x a few times, pretty decent everytime. My question is about ectasy. A few of my friends have tried it and tell me to try it, but I really don't like the whole pill thing, it kinda freaks me out.

I've heard rumors that X 'puts holes in your brain' and some other bad things. Im not worried about the psychological part of X, but moreso the physical part of it. Is it really bad for you (the kind around my area are triple-stacks for $15). Any X reports or advice from people who took X would be helpful as I really want to try it, but I really don't want to fuck myself up over it (although all my friends seem fine and theyve taken it about 10 times).

it doesn't put holes in your brain. Hard to quantify the health hazards, but if you do a lot of it you get a little e-tarded. Just dont do more than 1 pill your first time, and if you do it more than once, space them out. A little care goes a long way.

if you need some more in-depth information, my most reliable source has been erowid.org

Of course X isn't good for you but so far they have discoverd no bad things for your boby in the long-run. In the short-run you're memory will go back but that is the same as for weed. And if you try one pill it won't harm you, I don't know what pill they have in your county but I will advice you to start with one pill and wait till you feel it, it can take 30 minutes but also 1,5 hour.

Ok, I have friends that are longtime users, myself included. It depends on your personality, like all drugs. One of them literally did it twice a week for 2 years or more. This person ended up not with major side effects, but coming from a guy who previously had a predisposition towards depression and anxiety he claims that both have them increased slightly after his little lost weekend. One has to take into account life factors too though. What was he avoiding? did doing it for such a prolonged period simply worsen what he was running from with drugs? There is alot of grey area when it comes to the long term side effects from drugs, many of which have to do with preexisting addict behavior and depression.

footnote: as for my experience with it however has been an entirely positive one. Me and my girlfriend do it or mushrooms once to twice a year as sort of a spiritual practice, reconnecting and whatnot. But that's our jibba jabba, not for everyone. I will say this though, if you can find pure MDMA, DO NOT HESITATE! heh.

E is harder than weed.
Common sense.

But what most people don't realize is the long term damage to your serotonin levels in your brain. Repeated usage will totally fry your brain. I mean totally fryed when compared to a perfectly healthy brain.

Repeated MDMA usage isn't going to severely damage your brain to stop you from doing everyday activities, but it will do at least a little.

My recommendations, since you're going to do it anyways:
1. Don't take stacks, meaning x2, x3 pills at a time.
2. Don't drink too much water.
3. Pay attention to your body. If you think you are tired from dancing or w/e, give it a rest.
4. Don't do any activity that requires extreme temperature changes, eg hot bath.
5. Be ready for a hang-over, which lasts a day. The hangover stays a little for about a week.
6. Don't take the caps unless you trust the dealer. 90% of all caps are laced. No MDMA pill is 100%, because it can not be pressed into the powder form w/o another substance. Many dealers like to lace it with speed/meth/coke.
7. After your first E, give your body a rest to heal itself. Depends on the person, but I would guess at least a week.

Happy Rollin.

"This person ended up not with major side effects, but coming from a guy who previously had a predisposition towards depression and anxiety he claims that both have them increased slightly after his little lost weekend. "

I've never heard anyone say anything about depression or anxiety being brought up by drugs, ive heard it being brought up as a result of using... When you sober up if you already are depressed and have anxiety, exactly like i do.... those feelings are going to be intensified when you get sober, as in coming down, or not doing drugs for a while. I know this is a different chemical than heroin, but i was so fucking numb going into rehab i forgot what feelings were, and i forgot what made me start to use, when i got clean and my head started to clear all these feelings came back that i had forgotten about, and my anxiety and depression came back on, and they came back on hard. Your friend having this come back could just be a result of getting clean or coming down is what i was getting at.

Can anyone (jimi) just answer the questions asked in the original post? I think the kid was just worried about all the drug rumors that go along with doing mdma, like thinking it puts holes and your brain, and what it has the capibility to do physically to your body.

Not just answers that have to do with how to take it and what to do when your rolling, i think everybody has that figured out they have friends.

Listen to this, he knows what he is talking about... I also agree that if you are gonna do it. Don't over use it. That is the main problems with drugs it that everyone seems to want to do as much as possible and it results in physical shutdown, or a mental lapse in judgment (ie jumping off building due to paranoid feelings).
