My best friend...

I started college this year in miami and I made really good friends there. For a while, I had a girl that I was fooling around with but nothing too special.

During all this time, I became best friends with this gorgeous gorgeous girl. She has a beautiful smile, and has the kindest heart anyone can ask for. Anyway, after I met her, I met her now ex-boyfriend, and he seemed like an alright guy.

Right before Thanksgiving break, they broke up, and she started coming to me more, hugging me often, asking me to go out and such.

Anyway, Ive realized that I like this girl a lot. However, I dont want to mess up our friendship now by asking her to date.

Im not sure what to do.

i may be too young, but i'm kinda going thru the same thing with this one girl. but if she's givin out signs that she wants to start dating, go ahead and ask.

me, i'm just waiting for her to show a sign that she would like me back the way that i like her.

Talk with her. Tell her you are glad you are friends.

She is depressed and probably feels a little lonely after the break up.

Some guys would say go for it, and she may give in to feel better about her self, but if the feelings are not there, you will lose the girl as a friend too.
