Recently, Ive started working for a friend, lets call him (Mark) who has a wide collection of exotic cars, private jets, houses, and boats for rent. A few days ago, I was contacted by a friend of mine who wants to rent out a Hennessy Viper Venom Twin Turbo. (Of which there are only 24 others in the world).

Now, I've done my reasearch on the car, but all the forums are 2 to 3 years old so posting on there can not help me. I am hoping that car lovers can help me with this. The car itself with only 900 hp in 2001 ran for about $225,000. With upgrades, which Mark's Hennessy has, reaching 1400 hp, Its about $250,000, which seemingly so, its cheapier than the Buggatti at $1.7M, The Ferrari Enzo and so on. In fact, Heres a chart comparing Super Car's prices.

# Hennessey Venom Twin Turbo SRT Coupe
# 1000 hp
# Top Speed: 255 mph
# 2006 Production: 24 units
# Cost: $225,000

Bugatti Veyron
# 1001 hp
# Top Speed: 253 mph
# World-wide Production: 300 units
# Cost: $1.7M

Ferrari Enzo
# 660 hp
# Top Speed: 225 mph
# World-wide Production: 349 units
# Cost: $1M

Porsche Carrera GT
# 605 hp
# Top Speed: 205 mph
# World-wide Production: 1200 units
# Cost: $484,000

Mercedes McLaren SLR
# 617 hp
# Top Speed: 208 mph
# World-wide Production: 800 units
# Cost: $570,000

Now, the problem is, Mark doesnt have a 2001, he has a 2006. However, My friend is not looking to buy it, just simply rent it for 3 days.

So I talked to Mark about it, and he said 6k for the 3 days, but my friend must safe deposit by wiring money to his account of 5k before even talking about the car. I know Mark very well, and I know he is completly legit, and his accounts are all deposit safe; However, I'd like to know if 6k for 3 days is a good price for renting out a Hennessy Viper.

What do you all think?

yes... average price for renting high end cars is anywhere from 1200-3000 per day depending on the rarity and value of the car.

Reality.. it's his car and he can rent it out for however much he wants. It's like an aution, "the painting is worth as much as the people are willing to pay for it."
