Who are your picks for MVP's through halfway of this years NFL season.. Offensive, Defensive and Rookie

Offensive--Gotta go with Tomlinson on this one. The man is unstoppable.

Defensive-- Gonna go with the leading sacker in the NFL.. Aaron Kampman. go pack

Rookie-- no brainer here.. its a Saint.. and its not reggie bush.. 7th round pick Marques Colston.. this guy is probowl bound I unless something goes aray.

Def rookie-- not sure of too many defensive guys making huge plays. Other than Mark Anderson of Chicago.. and AJ Hawk from Green Bay.. so my pick is AJ Hawk.. He leading the packers in tackles.. and thats saying a lot cause Nick Barnett is no slouch.

I came to this thread looking for an argument, but it looks like I don't get to have any fun. Those are all the right picks. No exceptions. Maybe I'll just point out how your spelling went awry. :)

I def agree with LT, it's a no brainer!!

You and your homer picks. I can agree with Hawk, not so sure about Kampman. He is having a good year, but I also don't really know other guys' stats to say who I'd pick instead?

I agree with all except def MVP. Julius Peppers deserves that one so far.

NFL is still going?

I thought football ended after college...:mstad:

I've tried to get into NFL, I just can't do it...doesn't do the same thing for me like college football does

The problem I have with the college game is that the players aren't allowed to get anything free...no handouts.
Normally I wouldn't have an issue with that...except for the millions of dollars the system is making of these kids.
Free talent - Millions profit. Kind of like Junior hockey up here. The players do get payed $50 a week....but that's the same as it was in the 70's...and the league does everything it can to screw the players out of the schooling money they have built into the contract if the players never make the NHL.

That being said, I do enjoy watching the College games....such passion.
