It wasn't the grips that's the potential cheating gaffe. It's the brown smudge on his pitching hand that is in question. It's theorized that he used pine tar to doctor the ball and give it different movement. Illegal stuff.

Its all good. The Stl fans know he cheated.. but if the Cards go on to win tonight and tomorrow, It wont matter.

Its a shame. He has cast doubt on his abilities on National TV and cast doubt on his team as a whole. ..

I think all the other teams they have played will go back and look at tape.

MLB last night basically said that it was a done deal, and nothing else would become of it.

Suppan pitches tonight. If he does tonight, what he did to the Mets..

Gaylord Perry was said to be a big cheat in his day.
And If MLB basicly only slaps Steriod users on the wrist, Or go after unknowns. i think it would be hypocritical to punish Kenny.

Besides it generates excitement for baseball, Much like the steriod use thing..

by the way, old video tape shows the same smudge on his hand pitching against the Yankees and A's earlier this year.

As far as the pic goes, funy shit...It took me a second to see what the pic was about, but I caught it.

Everyone has said that it wasn't a big deal that he used pine tar. Hell sports analysts everywhere have said that everyone does the old pine tar trick when it is cold to get a better grip on the ball, and that it really isn't a big deal. If it were a big deal, they would have done something more drastic about it, in my opinion.
