Just a few shots taken the other morning from my back garden before the sun rose. There were a lot of transatlantic airliners overhead coming from the states, and the sky colours were impressive.

The cameras a Sony DSC-H5, 12x zoom, 7.2 megapix......

Those are all nice. I like the first one, with the crossing patterns, and streaming clouds.

Those shots are nice. Love the con-trails created by the airliners. I don't see them cross like that very often here. They are always just kinda straight and boring. I especially like the second to the last one...never see large jets like that actually turn! I see the fighter jets from the Naval Air Station engaging in some horseplay every so often though....I'm just never quick enough to get any pictures.

Yeah, when i was over in NH last month up in the White mountains, we saw a few A-10 thunderbolt 2s playing around overhead for a few hours......noisy bastards.

For the price its a very impressive camera. The quality of the 12x shots is really good, the autosteady works really well. The size of the lcd screen is a winner too........damn things huge.

Only issue is the battery life............big screen eats the power.........have to buy NiMH batteries 2400mAh, 2500mAh or 2900mAh cells to get a decent life out of it.

Great camera though, very impressed.
