Wireless Network Question

This is what I want to do: I want to put my modem and wireless router in my bedroom where the phone jack is and move my computer to the living room where there is no phone jack. I have a wireless card for the laptop so that is no problem. Can I get a wireless card or whatever for the desktop in order to get the internet? If so, how? Thanks.

Any computer store or electronic store like circuit city, bestbuy, even walmart cary pci slot wireless cards for your regular computer. They cost from 40.00 on up here where I am at. Just get one put it in a empty pci slot on your computer install the included software and then connect to your modem.

linksys has a nice wirless usb adapter, no pci slot needed.
I have several of these, they work great...
