With the Major drought that Tiger is having can you still say that he's the top golfer in the world?? Guys like Mick, Ells, and Singh are playing much better consistent golf. What do you think??

Ok, the way Tiger played in the past made people have elevated expectations about him. Nobody can domnate a sport the way he did for very long, other players will eventually begin picking up their game. He is still an incredible golfer, and I think he will rebound soon.
He has made enough money.. seems to be getting a little complacent

Golf is a hard sport to dominate, too. Regardless, Tiger hasnt won Majors, but i think he won 5 tournaments last year, and had the lowest scoring avg on the Tour. I just think hes focusing on the Majors too much.

At present he's just one of the best, among a group of about 20 or so. Right now he's too proud to admit that he needs his old coach back.

I heard today that he reconciled with Butch. Maybe he finally realized that he still needs a coach to stay at the top of his game.

What kind of no point, waste of time post is this. Who gives a shit. He's a great golfer period. What does that have to do with anything. What are you two years old. Try saying something intellegent and useful for fuck sake. :usuck:

Everyone seems to forget he's Asian too. They only see the skin color. Sad...
Hopefully he gets his act together and gets Butch to help him again. He's in a slump, although I'd love to hit the ball as well as he does on his worst day!
I don't know if he's the best golfer on tour right now, but he is the most popular. My friend and I went to the Byron Nelson this year and the crowds that follow him from hole to hole was astounding. Larger than that of the leader and eventual winner, Sergio Garcia.

He still continues to never miss a cut and is consistemtly in the top 10. I say he is still the best and working to get better.

This is why Tiger's game is weak now.

He's concentrating too much on getting the ball in those holes, and enjoying the rough. Can't say that I blame him. :bowrofl:

I agree! He will come back, once he gets use to the married life and has a kid. Keep in mind, he can stop playing for 15 yrs , come back and still be one of the young guys.

Who does not have their ups and downs in their career? Tiger is a excellent golfer and always will be. Some of the best golfers in history never once won a major? Does that make them any less of an excellent golfer? No. Anyways, he's playing golf for a living so no matter what he's got a sweet deal for his career!

Right now Tiger is still the man. He may not be winning every tournament the way he was before, but he's still the most consistent and in golf that's the hardest thing to do.
Btw, Tiger will need to start picking up his game in the next few years. His success has spawned a whole generation of kids to start playing golf at an early age. Pretty soon they'll be the ones trying to knock him off the top, not the guys currently on tour.
