I used to take some direct tv, and it was great the best thing i ever did. but when they changed the card, i didn't wanna do it because it was too much at the time. I feel like getting back in to the system, and i was hoping the somone here in the community could fill me in on whats up with it and just give the 411 i guess.

I wouldnt say that they dont have a public hack. Everything is hackable!! You just have to give us time to bring it out for everyone.

I had some direct tv kid try to do a hidden wire custom install today. He could not get through some of my fire walls in the attic so I guess I'll do it my self. He told me that he had three friends serving jail time (3 yrs or $100,000) for hacking DTV. He said they were busted in the first month of use, all at different times of the year.

Why dont people use tunnels anymore? You have to fool the signal.

See bzg all that shows me ia a good challenge to get it hacked faster. Besides isnt the P5 already out on the new ones.

The p4 has been out for several yers now. The p5 came out not to long after the p4. If we can't get into the p4, there is even less hope for the p5. I know some very talented coders that have been working on this for a long while now with little progress.
The best bet at the moment is to go with the other provider....
