i think this is the right forum for this but not completely sure. but anyway about a week ago i was diagnosed as being bi-polar and place on the prescription drug risperdal. since i began taking the drug i have not been able to ejaculate although i do have an orgasm. i am an other wise healthy 19 year old male and have never had this problem before. i was just wondering if anyone had any insight into this such as if it could be the risperdal or something else any help or advise is much apprecialted.

ok, there are a couple of meds that you will not be able to masterbate while taking them, some of them are risperdal, ridalin, pyorocin. those would be the main three. i would just say lay off the masterbation, and just start getting healthy. the effects of risperdal varry with peoples weight and heart condition, but you probably....and this is the true, you might not have any semen production for about 3-4mounths. cuz risperdal, ridalin, pyorocin all effect the prostate in differnt ways.

I was on an anti-depressant once that would not allow me to ejaculate or have an orgasm. I could get rock hard and stay that way forever, but couldn't bust. My g/f loved it, but I didn't.

I have been diagnosed as having bipolar disorder for almost 7 years now. I have never taken risperadal. Too weak of an effect. As was stated before, different medications will affect you in different physical ways since you are changing the body's physiology. Best thing you can do is to give you psychologist/psychiatrist a call. They will not mind. If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to pm me.
