Had a little boomer incident 2nite

I learned something 2nite. When doing shrooms, dont stand up for too long, you'll pass out!!!!
Friend and i had a little bit 2nite, hangin out at the house. decide to go to the bar. After a few minutes, he walks over and says "I need to sit down!" police ambulance the hole 9 yards. Im outside listenin 2 em talk to him about how his BP is really low, if he stands up hes gonna pass out. This gets me thinkin. Those funny light head kinda feelins when your plastered into the couch r from a low BP. I had never thought that that might be one of the ways that shrooms interact with our bodies, lesson learned. PARTY ON!

which is why it is intelligent to hallucinate intelligently, with a "babysitter". And walking/driving to a bar aren't high on the recommended list either.

Agreed xevious, hallucinogens arent "party" drugs. They can turn your world upside down, literally.

I've used them off and on for almost 15 years with no incidents like this to speak of. We had a relatively low dose(~1.7g each). It had been about 4hours since ingestion so i though the height of the trip had already passed. I wasnt trippin much at all, if anything i just felt tired. a few weeks earlier we had done quite a bit more(~4g each). But we really didnt go anywhere just hung out inside and in the back yard layin in the grass. Which is all i iusually feel like doin. Acid seems to be much different for me, I feel more energetic and less lethargic, often taking extended walks in the bike paths at night with no problems to speak of. I guess you cant take anything for granted.

I've always said the best thing to do when on hallucinogens is have somebody who's sober drive you around at night(especialy during christmas time).

True that, ALOT of my friends always do that when they have a shroom or cid trip.

One good thing to remember...never sit outside an IHOP type establishment staring in awe at condensation on your windows when the Ihop (or whatever) is filled with cops. :mstad:

But yeah, sitting in a car while someone sober drives is awesome, especially right after dawn, when everything is so crisp...it all looks brand new, like someone created it especially for you to look at first.

The town I grew up in has alot of people that decorate BIG for christmas, and the city busses would do night time tours of the best areas for like two bucks. I loved taking a couple hits of acid and jumping on those busses, but it sucks if you start to get the giggles.

yeah, its fun having a sober driver and riding around the town, especially when you have convertable and the tops down, the only other thing i can tell you is when you are on shrooms don't be around people you don't like it will cause you to have a bad trip.

acid and a good wander in the country side. led to me standing in the middle of a field talking to a couple of sheep.(and thats as far as it went,)(lol)

crowded places like bars=FTL on shrooms.

My advice: If you need a drink, do it at home or (my favorite) in the woods. With some buddies. and a good comfy place to sit.

if you're not seated, I recommmend wandering instead of standing around. if you're standing up straight, the blood will drain from your head, and cause you to pass out. If you're shrooming, you might not notice yourself getting dizzy until your ass is already on the ground.
