dang critters ... they were lapping up some coffee (ever see ants on caffiene ?) . put down some "terro" bait on plastic ... that is a drop of it in the pix ... they really go for the stuff !
i scattered them when i was setting up ... they were all the way around the drop , "shoulder to shoulder" ... belly up to the bar boys (girls in this case) !
i want to build a light table and a couple of point sources for illumination ... i am not too happy with lighting as it is .
shot with a fuji S7000 in the "super macro mode ... no digital zoom , straight optical .
