I use clippers to keep it trim. No bumps, but it doesn't get all nasty either. Girls have told me they prefer this.

I'd use nair as well. Not that I want to get rid of my chesthair but it's got to be the least painful of all the methods.

waxing is definitely the way to go. as a woman, I only date guys who are either waxed or naturally have none. I find chest hair...disgusting.

But even waxing lets it grow back in a matter of days-weeks. The only truly way to get rid of it is to get lazer surgery, which really isn't that expensive anymore, when you think of the results and how long it will last (aka your whole life). I like a little hair on my chest, but it skeeves me out in other places.

i think you should not worry about what's growing on your chest untill you are maybe on a 3rd date with a girl, and just flat out ask her what she prefers... she might apreciate you taking the time/pain to remove it.. or she might prefer you to leave it there... My fiance has no problem what-so-ever with my body hair (i've got plenty). She likes the way it looks and thinks it looks weird when I buz/shave it off.

These types of preferances are totally varied from one woman to the next- trust me on this.

Chest hair is sexy

Leave it be, unless its growing on your back or something.

Alot of my friends are bodybuilders, and most of them have chest hair. When not in competition, they just use clippers, as most girls prefer it because if doesn't irritate their face or chest, they wax before competition, but no more than 2 days. If ur gonna spend alot of time at the beach with a shirt off wax before going, if u just plan on wearing a wife-beater, use clippers.

There's waxing, shaving, stuff like Nair and the laser hair removal. The laser does last the longest but does cost the most, shaving like you said does the red bump thing course there are things you can get to reduce that problem, waxing will hurt a bit but it is better than shaving in terms of how long it takes to grow back. Finally there is Nair or something like it which is probably your best bet as its easy, effective and not expensive by any means.

Yea my girlfriend hates mine, I'm just a hairy bastard though I can't help it. Thats what I tell her anyway haha, but I tried shaving it a few times for her and let her once (ouch that was a mistake) but I say be natural and let your body do its thing!

I guess the decision for a guy to remove body hair is related to his comfort level of himself. The entire subject has brought too much femininity into personal care for me to be comfortable with. I will make sure my teeth are straight and clean. I will make sure my facial hair is shaved and clean. I will make sure there are no funky odors coming from any part of my body and I will wear the cleanest and best clothes I can afford but if those things are not enough for a girl then she is not worth my time.

If the girl likes you I don't believe she will reject you because of a few hairs on your chest. In fact she might be more attracted to you if she perceives you are strong enough to reject such trivial actions. I have girls tell me that they perceive all these cosmetic changes that some males are willing to make as a sign of insecurity and weakness. You have to make the decision on what you are comfortable with.

the male side of my family genetically has a lot of hair, what i use is that nair stuff. It doesn't hurt and it eventually stops growing back, much better then wax

I think the real you is the person in your head. The body is only a vessel for it. If your with siomeone who you like and are willing to do it then great! I'll trim, shave or not if she likes it and it gets me laid more. The same applies to women and Implants or whatever. If you want to change the way you look then more power to you. We improve our brain by implanting facts and information so why not the body too?

Obviously if someone insists that you change something that you don't want to then FUCK them!
