where to go in late july?

I was just wondering. Where do you guys recommend for a few college studets to go to in late July? I'm leaning more towards a place that's sunny with beaches, etc. I was thinking of Australia but it's beyond our budgets.

How far you willing to travel, i.e. whats your budget.

It would be winter in aussie in july anyway, so that would rule out a lot of it.
