Its a good enough place. Has its nice areas and its rough areas, as does everywhere. But it has loads of pubs and a great nightlife, so its cool. Of course theres also two large breweries.......which helps.

That is pretty sweet stuff, I can just imagine the cool smell of all those trees and humidity. I love that feeling.

How many people live there?

Population of the city itself is roughly 123,000. But if you include the suberbs its around 230,000. It was originally built up by the vikings (part of their walls are still on display), but after they were kicked out it was granted city charter around 1185ad.

I was in London for 24 hours last summer and it was really pretty. EVERYTHING seems to be built out of brick, though!

Has to be, wooden buildings cant survive for long with irelands and the uks climate. With all the rain and storms, wooden buildings would fall apart fairly quick.

Mmmm. Good point. And I guess you'd worry less about them burning down. I know my little british friend said she thought we were nuts to build our houses out of wood.
