I'll be there with family, so mostly I'm looking for sightseeing. I know they'll also want to relax on the beach some. If I'm up to it, a little partying.

Basic fun things to do, including family friendly ones.

For family stuff you can go check out Sea Port Village. If you are in Coronado find the Ferry Landing and take it to the other side of the Coronado Bay (Very nive little boat ride) and that will take you straight to Sea Port Village. There are shops, food, sight s to see and everything there.

Also, as far as a beach go to Mission Beach. It has a nice boardwalk, rollercoasters and that where all the hot beach babes hang out.

Sea World has gotten bigger and better over the last ten years and it suprisingly very entertaining now. Or there is always teh San Diego Zoo which is the biggest Zoo in the world.

Might want to check out a place called Balboa Park. They have a little bit of everything there. Another big Fav of everyones is Old Town. Very historic and great Mexican food.

Or you could just drive down to Tijauna and get some cheap drinks for the night. Just don't go alone!

Well, it can be dangerous. The police are dicks, people tend to try and rob you, and you just might want someone there to watch your back.

Yeah, if we go it will be a whole family trip.

We'll be arriving there sometime Thursday afternoon. I'll probably update on whats going on and what we have seen.

I learned we might only be staying there 4 days or so. Once the soccer tournament is over we could be driving around to other parts of CA for a day or two at a time.

Arrived in San Diego around 1:30 Thursday afternoon. Our hotel is actually in the La Jolla area. Today I got to see Mission Beach and Belmont Park.
