Chicago Question

I'm going to the St. Louis/Chicago area for ten days this month. My Chicago friend found out that he has to work on the Saturday, so I need to find something to do to amuse myself for the day. I am totally unfamiliar with the city or anything about it. I'll be staying at the Deerfield Hyatt and would like to know what is within walking distance that I could check out and waste the day doing.

Any Chicago people here with suggestions? And keep it clean, naughty boys.

Chicago is a great town, and hopefully you found that out for yourself. I've done the marathon twice, and I'd consider moving there just based on the great people I've met.

deerfield is a bit from downtown. you'll have about a 20 minute drive to get downtown. but theres always great stuff, bars if your into that kinda thing......madison avenue is always good. sears tower, etc. all the touristy type things. WRIGLEY FIELD! get a tour! greatest place on earth. stay away from the west side, you'll get shot....
