Just read that one of my favorite SciFi writers of all time, Ray Bradbury, passed away today at 91.

One of my fondest memories was of him visiting my high school way back when; that was a lot of fun for sure...

Also got to meet him a number of times since then at Comicon...

Truly he was a prophet of SciFi that will be missed :sadwavey:

To me, there's too much going on in the current world to spend time reading about the future world. I'm not a sci-fi fan and have never read a science fiction book; however, after hearing some of the things said about him, I think I may pick up one of his books and give it a try.

BDJ, what book would you recommend?

A few that I would recommend?

Fahrenheit 451
The Martian Chronicles
The Illustrated Man

That last one is a collection of short stories so that might be a good one to get your feet wet with.

Thank you for the recommendations. I'll try to find some copies. This should give me something to read while I'm on an airplane.
