Here is a recipe for authentic polish goulash
Ingredients
3 tablespoons oil
600gms beef
1/3 teaspoon pepper
1/3 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoons paprika
150ml water
Procedure
Fry 3 onions in oil on a low heat until brown (30 mins)
Add salt
Add paprika then 20s later add meat
Cook until juice from meat is gone, add a bit of water
Simmer for 1-1.5 hours adding water if necessary and stirring every 15 mins
Boil potatoes almost cooked and finish cooking in goulash
Should be left in the fridge for 2 days before eating to let meat soak juices
